Primarily clinic-based paediatric OT position, with some work across schools and preschools Salary up to $115k super (depending on experience) Join an established paediatric service with consistent referrals and strong systems Be part of a broader OT team with accessible senior support Weekly individual supervision plus weekly group supervision Structured onboarding with a gradual increase in caseload Shadowing and observation time included as part of the induction process $1,500 annual professional development allowance Ongoing internal training, mentoring and case-based learning opportunities Genuine scope to shape your career based on your interests and strengths Extra onboarding support alongside formal clinical supervision Well-resourced clinic setting with quality therapy spaces and equipment Positive team culture with strong staff retention Values-led service with a big focus on connection, play and meaningful impact The day to day: Deliver paediatric occupational therapy assessment and intervention for children with a range of developmental, sensory, motor and regulation needs Work mainly from the clinic, with some sessions in educational settings Support children with presentations including autism, ADHD / ADD, sensory processing differences, fine motor and gross motor delays, coordination challenges, motor planning difficulties, handwriting difficulties, emotional regulation needs and daily living skill development Complete assessments, goal planning, intervention planning and report writing Partner closely with parents and caregivers, with a strong emphasis on practical support and coaching Provide therapy that is engaging, child-centred and focused on real-world outcomes Contribute within a service that may also offer group-based support, dyad sessions and telehealth where clinically suitable This is a team with a clear support model in place. Therapists receive weekly 1:1 supervision, weekly group supervision, internal mentoring and regular opportunities to keep building their clinical skills. There is also a strong focus on career development that is tailored rather than rigid. Our client looks at each clinician’s strengths, interests and longer-term goals, then works with them to build out opportunities in the right direction. That may include leadership, mentoring, projects, onboarding support or further development in niche clinical areas.
